Local Developer Proposes Mixed-Use Development In Baldwin Place, Somers

SOMERS, N.Y. -- Mahopac developer Ken Kearney proposed a mixed-use development and infrastructure improvements in the Baldwin Place section of Somers during the Dec. 3 Somers Town Board work session, reported The Examiner.

The development would be on the site of the National Golfworx driving range in Baldwin Place, the article said.

Kearney, founder and president of the Mahopac-based The Kearney Realty & Development Group, told the Town Board he had not yet purchased the property.

Kearney's proposing a roughly 25,000-square-foot commercial office building, according to The Examiner. He is also seeking to construct three residential buildings, totaling about 60,000 square feet.
