College Plans Cobbler Corn Feed In Yorktown

YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- Concordia College will sponsor a Cobber Corn Feed from 1-3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 16, in Yorktown Heights.

The event is for all Concordia alumni, students, parents, friends and prospective students in the area.

The corn feed will take place at 39 Oslo Drive, Yorktown Heights. The event is hosted by Donald ’83 and Allison Hanson.

Corn with butter and salt, bottled water and coffee will be provided. Those attending are asked to bring a side dish to share and chairs. If it is raining, the event will be canceled.

Cobber Corn Feeds have become an annual tradition throughout the country. They allow Concordia students, alumni and friends to renew friendships, make new acquaintances and learn more about what is currently happening at the college.

There will be 14 corn feeds this July through August held in 9 states. Concordia College in Minnesota is a four-year liberal arts college of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America offering more than 60 majors, including 15 honors majors and 12 preprofessional programs.
