Food & Wine Festival: Burgers, BBQ and Beer Bash

Burgers, BBQ and Beer Bash is the first of 18 Food & Wine Festival events from May 17-20.

The Bash will feature chefs Peter Kelly, of X20 Xaviers on the Hudson, Anthony Goncalves, of 42 The Restaurant, Anthony Micari, of BLT Steak, and Eric Gabrynowicz, of Restaurant North, among others.

"There will be 23 chefs there cooking up a storm," Pagani said. "It will be a lot of mixing and matching of burgers and beers."

The second-annual event, sponsored by Westchester Magazine, is touted as the "largest gathering of Westchester's restaurants at one event in one place in the county's history," according to a press release. Proceeds will benefit The Westchester Coalition for the Hungry and Homeless. 

The festival begins Thursday evening with a 7 p.m. ribbon cutting ceremony outside the Ritz Carlton in a 250-foot tent at the corner of Main Street and Court Street. Court Street will be closed during the proceedings.
