Hilltop Hanover Farm Announces Feburary, March Events

YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. -- A garden planning and design workshop is among the events that Hilltop Hanover Farm has planned for February and March.

A rundown of events is below.

Garden Express Workshops Series –– Create your own flower and vegetable gardens to enjoy healthy produce and fresh flowers this summer. Saturdays, Feb. 21, Feb. 28, March 7 and March 14, 1-3 p.m., Barn F.

Spin- and Knit-In – Calling all spinners and knitters, beginning and experienced. Gather in an informal atmosphere and be part of a monthly spinning and knitting group. No fee or registration required. Saturday, Feb. 21, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Barn F.

Other events include:

Seed Selection and Propagation on Saturday, Feb. 21.

Garden Design and Planning on Saturday, Feb. 28.

Soil and Composting taught by Maddie Morley on Saturday, March 7.

Tools, Techniques, and Methods taught by Sal De Vivo on Saturday, March 14

Fee: $100 members of Friends of Hilltop Hanover, $120 non-members or $35 per class. Online registration required at HilltopHanoverFarm.org.
