YORKTOWN, N.Y. A woman from West Nyack faces felony charges of grand larceny after police said she stole thousands of dollars from her employer in Yorktown.
Yorktown Police said Jennifer L. Friday, 28, was arrested and charged after she stole $3,500 from The Childrens Place at the Jefferson Valley Mall between December 2011 and January 2012 by creating false returns and removing the money from the cash register.
Police arrested Friday on Jan. 20 and she was arraigned in Yorktown Justice Court and released after posting $1,200 cash bail. She is due to appear in court on Jan. 24 at 6 p.m.
