Since 2000, the major national agencies on aging have encouraged seniors to consider remaining in their homes rather than incur the emotional and financial cost of moving. Studies indicate that most people agree. Aging in Place is the program developed to meet this growing need.

Certified AiP specialists Eugene Hollander and Debra Spross will describe the AiP program, its benefits and what you can do right now to implement strategies for your retirement years. Both construction and health care issues will be discussed.

Architect Eugene Michael Hollander has been a Fairfield resident since 1998. In practice for 35 years, he specializes in residential architecture, elder housing and construction product consulting. Debra Spross is a physical therapist and orthopedic clinical specialist with over 30 years of experience. A Fairfield resident for 24 years, she has spoken to groups at area senior centers and businesses through her company, Spross Consulting & Stay Put Strategies, LLC.

All programs at the Fairfield Public Library are free. Register for this program online at www.fairfieldpubliclibrary.org or call 203-256-3160.
