Covid-19: Here's Latest Update On Number Of Dutchess County Cases By Municipality

There are now more than 2,000 active novel coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in Dutchess County, as the number of confirmed cases approaches 3,000 since the outbreak began in early March.

As of Monday, May 4, 2,093 Dutchess County residents were still being treated for COVID-19, while 2,926 have tested positive for the virus. There have been 40 COVID-19 deaths reported in Dutchess.

Since the outbreak, 793 COVID-19 patients have been treated and discharged from county hospitals.

  • Poughkeepsie City: 279;
  • Poughkeepsie: 259;
  • Fishkill: 175;
  • Wappinger: 157;
  • East Fishkill: 150;
  • Beacon City: 137;
  • LaGrange: 119;
  • Hyde Park: 113
  • Beekman: 79;
  • Rhinebeck: 47;
  • Wappingers Falls Village: 44;
  • Union Vale: 43;
  • Pleasant Valley: 42;
  • Dover: 40;
  • Pawling: 33;
  • Red Hook: 25;
  • Clinton: 18;
  • Stanford: 14;
  • Amenia: 11;
  • Milan: 11;
  • Rhinebeck Village: 11;
  • Washington: 10;
  • Pine Plains: 10.
There have been less than five cases reported in the Villages of Fishkill, Millbrook, Millerton, Pawling, Red Hook, Tivoli, and North East.

According to the New York State Department of Health, there have been 318,953 confirmed positive COVID-19 cases statewide, which have resulted in 19,415 deaths, though hospitalization rates, new COVID-19 patients, and intubations are all down.
