MAHOPAC, N.Y. -- A full day of activities including a triathlon, 5k run/walk and children’s inflatable obstacle course will be part of the inaugural Mahopac TyAthlon on Saturday, Sept. 21.
The races support childhood cancer research and the Ty Louis Campbell Foundation. Ty, 5, died last year after battling brain cancer.
The triathlon begins at 7:30 a.m. The 5k begins at 10:30, and the obstacle course for children ages 2-15 starts at 12:30.

All proceeds raised as a result of the Mahopac TyAthlon will benefit the TLC Foundation for childhood cancer research.
