Jefferson Valley Mall Celebrates Earth Day

YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- The Jefferson Valley Mall is to host an Earth Day celebration for children from noon-1:30 p.m. Saturday, April 23.

The mall, which serves as a family-friendly shopping destination, will host a fun and educational free indoor event filled with plants, animals and more, according to event organizers.

Children will have the opportunity to plant and grow seedlings with help from Stuart's Fruit Farm and will have the chance to interact with animals.

Attendees also will take home animal-themed giveaways.

The Jefferson Valley Mall is located at 650 Lee Boulevard, Yorktown Heights. The event is to be in the mall's center court.
