Jefferson Valley Mall Sponsors A Day Of Free Events For Babies, Families

YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. -- The Jefferson Valley Mall is sponsoring a day of free events for babies, toddlers and families Saturday.

Among the events are a Diaper Derby, which is a competition for fastest crawler, and a live musical for young audiences, "Smelly Feet."

For the diaper derby, from noon to 1 p.m., babies will compete in heats with six participants. Winners from each heat will move on to the semifinals and then a grand finale race. All contestants must be under the age of 12 months and must not be walking yet. "Smelly Feet: A Children's Musical That Really Stinks" will take place from 1-2 p.m. This is a free live show for young audiences that features audience participation.
