The walk at Rye Playland raised funds for patient support services, advocacy for lifesaving treatments and cancer research.

Tolomer led a group of employees, their family members and friends from The Westchester Bank on the walk. Last year, the event raised $1.6 million in seven walks throughout New York and Connecticut. In the 16 years the event has been held nationwide, LLS has raised nearly $900 million.

Each “Light The Night Walk” honors local blood cancer survivors and commemorates individuals who have lost their lives to these diseases.

The Westchester Bank has been a key supporter of the event. Tolomer is a past Board Member of LLS. The event included food, family activities, entertainment, and a fireworks show. To learn more about LLS and "Light the Night Walks," visit www.lls.org
