Courage To Speak Foundation Invites Norwalk To Drug-Free Family Night

NORWALK, Conn. — The Courage to Speak Foundation's 12th Annual Courage to Speak Empowering Youth to Be Drug-Free Family Night will take place Monday at West Rocks Middle School.

Parents and families are invited to attend and enjoy a free dinner before the program. 

Family Night will feature student art work created as part of the foundation's Drug Prevention Education Program. Students also will read their vows not to use drugs. State Sen. Bob Duff will serve as master of ceremonies and Ginger Katz, CEO and founder, will be the guest speaker.

Mayor Harry Rilling, Superintendent of Schools Steven Adamowski, Chief of Police Thomas Kulhawik, principals, teachers and other school administrators, parents, students, business professionals, media, clergy and other community leaders will be in attendance. 

The Courage to Speak Foundation's mission is to encourage youth to be drug-free through education, empowerment and promote the discussion between families of the dangers of drug usage.

The event begins at 5:45 p.m.
