YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. -- Support Connection will hold an Open House on Sept. 10 in preparation for the 21st Annual Support-A-Walk for Breast and Ovarian Cancer.
The Open House will give participants a "one-stop-shopping" experience to prepare for the upcoming walk. Participants can bring donations, pick up event t-shirts and brochures and meet with Support Connection volunteers and staff for questions or assistance with setting up online fund raising pages or forming teams.
Tribute Message signs will be available for viewing and purchase. The signs are displayed along the path with personal messages of support for the walkers. Light refreshments will be served.
The Walk takes place Oct. 4 at Franklin D. Roosevelt Park in Yorktown Heights.
The Open House will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Support Connection office on 40 Triangle Ccenter, Route 100 in Yorktown Heights.
