From 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., the diner at 265 S. Highland Ave. will donate 20 percent of its proceeds to the family. One hundred percent of the proceeds from additional donations received throughout the day also will benefit the Ossining family.

Gullotta House Inc. will collect turkey donations, and the Interact Club will distribute them to families under the direction of Ron Whitehead. All turkey donations can be dropped off at the Landmark Diner between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m.

Borgia is the Westchester County legislator for District 9, which covers Ossining, Briarcliff Manor, Croton-on-Hudson and parts of Cortlandt and Peekskill. During her tenure as a county legislator, she has helped evaluate and approve more than 200 capital projects, which have brought millions of dollars of infrastructure improvements, as well as thousands of jobs for Westchester residents. Borgia also has been a member of the board’s Budget and Appropriations Committee.

The Ossining High School Interact Club is part of the Ossining Rotary Club under the direction of Whitehead. Each year, the goal of the club is to sponsor one local and one international project. Past projects include raising money for children of Afghanistan and collecting money for the victims of the World Trade Center attack. The Interact Club has supported the Park School ESL party, Claremont After-School Program and the food drive for the food pantry.
