Shoppers can take advantage of 23 hours of shopping on Thanksgiving and Black Friday, extended shopping hours throughout December and savings with a variety of sales and promotional offers.
The mall will be open from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 26, and from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, Nov. 27. Extended hours will continue throughout the holiday shopping season.
“Jefferson Valley Mall is ready to welcome families who will benefit from our extended shopping hours and great sales from nationally recognized and locally owned retailers,” said Alexa O’Rourke, director of marketing and business development at the mall.
This year, Jefferson Valley Mall will present the following holiday happenings:
- The Santa Photo Experience through Thursday, Dec. 24.
- Hospice Tree of Life Ceremony, Friday, Nov. 20 from 6-7:30 p.m. Hospice Care in Westchester and Putnam invites the community to celebrate the life of a loved one by purchasing a personalized dove that will decorate the Tree of Life.
- Pet Photo Night, Sunday, Nov. 22 from 6-8 p.m.
- Black Friday Extravaganza, Nov. 27 from noon to 3 p.m.
- Kidgits Club Breakfast with Santa, Saturday, Dec. 5, from 8:30-10 a.m.
- Caring Santa, Sunday, Dec. 6, from 9-10:30 a.m. Jefferson Valley Mall will provide children with special needs and their families with a sensory friendly environment to safely experience this time-honored tradition through the Caring Santa program. - Hanukkah Ceremony, Sunday, Dec. 13 at 5 p.m. Jefferson Valley Mall, along with nine local synagogues, will celebrate Chanukah, the Festival of Lights, with a special menorah lighting in Center Court.
