YORKTOWN, N.Y. – Support Connection, Inc. is offering a free program, “Watercolor Painting for Women with Breast and Ovarian Cancer” Wednesday, July 15 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Somers Public Library, Somers, New York.
In this workshop, participants will receive easy instructions and learn simple techniques while creating a watercolor painting they can take home to frame. No art experience is necessary and all materials are included.
An instructor from The Arts Alive Art School, which has specialized in “step-by-step” instruction for beginner, teen and adult art students in New York and New Jersey since 1998, will lead the program.

Support Connection, Inc. is a not for profit organization based in Yorktown Heights that provides free, confidential support services and programs to people affected by breast and ovarian cancer. Support Connection’s services include one-on-one peer counseling, ongoing support groups, wellness classes and workshops, educational forums, referrals and resource information.
