Local businesses will participate in the second annual senior expo presented by Putnam Hospital Center at the Jefferson Valley Mall.

It takes place from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at Jefferson Valley Mall's Center Court on Retail Level 1. 

Active local seniors will learn about exciting area services and opportunities.

The free, afternoon event, sponsored in-part by MVP Healthcare, will provide seniors with the opportunity to meet local organizations and professionals offering products and expertise in health and wellness, insurance and financial planning, including Aetna, Cedar Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Robison Oil, Seniors Helping Seniors of Northern Westchester and Putnam and Somers Manor Rehabilitation & Nursing Center. 

Attendees will also enjoy live musical performances, including a special appearance by Elvis! 

Beginning at 11 a.m., residents of Jefferson Village will be able to take advantage of complimentary shuttle service to and from the event, courtesy of RideConnect. Residents will be picked up at the clubhouse every half hour.
