Monday, March 4

Yorktown Board of Education: 7 p.m. Mildred E. Middle School, 2727 Crompond Road.

Egg Decorating Contest: Children between 3 years old and third grade are eligible to enter Yorktown's egg decorating contest. Participants must use this egg outline on the attached flyer on the town's website. Participation ribbons will be awarded to all participants. Ribbons will be awarded to first-, second- and third-place finishers in each age group, which will be presented at at the town's March 23 Easter Egg Hunt. The deadline to submit an is 3 p.m. March 19.

Tuesday, March 5

John C. Hart Book Club: 7 p.m. Book club members will discuss "The Years of Lyndon Johnson: The Passage of Power" by Robert Caro.  John C. Hart Memorial Library, 1130 E. Main St.

Yorktown Town Board Meeting: 7:30 p.m. Yorktown Town Hall, 363 Underhill Ave.

Yorktown Conservation Board Meeting: 7:30 p.m. Yorktown Town Hall, 363 Underhill Ave.

Thursday, March 7

Bingo: 5 p.m. Bingo is every Thursday at the Yorktown Elk's Lodge, 590 Waverly Road.

Lakeland Board of Education: 7:30 p.m. Administration Building. 1086 E. Main St.
