Friday, March 1

First Fridays Cafe Open Mic: 6:30 p.m. Teens will perform acoustic music – covers and originals. Yorktown Community and Cultural Center, Nutrition Room. 1974 Commerce St.

Saturday, March 2

Yoga – A Path to Wellness: Noon to 1:30 p.m. Support Connection hosts its weekly yoga session for people living with breast, ovarian or gynecological cancer. Club Fit, 600 Bank Road.

Earring Making Workshop: Noon. Make earrings for yourself and for a battered women's shelter. Registration is required. John C. Hart Memorial Library, 1130 E. Main St.

Casino Night Fundraiser: 7 p.m. to midnight. The Foundation for Excellence in Yorktown Education will honor three Relay for Life members. Monica Garrigan, Jane McCarthy and Donna D'Andrea - co-chairs for Relay for Life in Yorktown - will be recognized during the second annual Casino Night and Dinner Dance at the DoubleTree Hotel on 455 S. Sunday, March 3

Breakfast with SpongeBob: 8:30 a.m. to noon. The Yorktown Leos and Elks are sponsoring a pancake breakfast with SpongeBob SquarePants and friends. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for kids, kids under 3 years old eat for free. Elks Lodge, 590 Waverly Road.

Hart Library Sunday Concert: 2 p.m. The John C. Hart Memorial Library continues its Sunday concert series with Mary Mancini and Mario Tacca. The event is free and open to the public. 1130 E. Main St.
