Tuesday, Oct. 23

Teen Center Greatest Films Movie & Discussion: 6:30 to 9:45 p.m. The Teen Center screens the movie "The Artist." YCCC, 1974 Commerce St., Room 102.

Yorktown Town Board work session: 7:30 p.m. Yorktown Town Hall, 363 Underhill Ave.

ABACA: 8 p.m. Advisory Board on Architecture & Community Appearance meeting. YCCC Room 209, second floor. 1974 Commerce St.

Wednesday, Oct. 24

Soundview Prep Open House: 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. Soundview Preparatory School, 370 Underhill Ave.

Paper Arts & Mixed Media: Accordion Book: 6:30 p.m. Three creative styles of accordion books will be demonstrated. Register for the free program by calling 914-245-5262, x227. John C. Hart Memorial Library, 1130 Main St.

Thursday, Oct. 25

Great Goblin Call: 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Pre-register for your children between the ages of 3 and 5 to receive a call from the Great Goblin. Complimentary candy prizes and a Great Goblin t-shirt will be given to all participants. All t-shirts and candy are to be picked up at the Recreation Office on Friday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Parks & Rec Office, 176 Granite Springs Road.

Teen Center FUNdraising Dinner: 6:30 p.m. The Yorktown Teen Center’s annual fundraising dinner returns with a night of cocktails, awards, live music and more. Colonial Terrace, 119 Oregon Road, Cortlandt Manor.
