WWI's Harlem 369th Regiment: 7:30 p.m. Professor and author Peter Nelson will discuss his latest book "A More Unbending Battle." Nelson is an adjunct professor with Fairfield University and is an author of more than 25 books and numerous articles in national magazines. He's the winner of the 2003 Christopher Award and was named to Esquire Magazine's best American writers under 40. "A More Unbending Battle" tells the story of regiment of African-American soldiers from Harlem and surrounding states formed prior to World War I. The event is open to the public and no registration is required. John C. Hart Memorial Library, 1130 E. Main St.
