What To Do In Yorktown This Weekend

Friday, Oct. 5

Teen Center Open Mic: 6:30 p.m. The first open mic night of the season is in the YCCC Senior Nutrition Center. Acoustic music, covers and originals will be performed by Yorktown teens. 1974 Commerce St.

Saturday, Oct. 6

Farmers Market: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Yorktown Farmers Market is every Saturday until Oct. 27. Veterans Road behind the Yorktown Fire Department.

Sunday, Oct. 7

Support Connection Walk: 9 a.m. Support Connection's 18th annual Support-A-Walk returns to FDR Park. Proceeds help fund Support Connection's free support services for anyone affected by breast and ovarian cancer.

Yorktown Festival and Street Fair: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nearly 300 vendors will be on hand at the Fourth Annual Yorktown Festival & Street Fair.
