Friday, Oct. 19

Taconic Opera: 8 p.m. The Taconic Opera opens its 15th season with a performance of Arrigo Boito's Mefistofele. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased online. Yorktown Stage, 1974 Commerce St.

Saturday, Oct. 20

Farmers' Market: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Yorktown Farmers' Market is every Saturday until Oct. 27. Veterans Road behind the Yorktown Fire Department.

Children's Annual Tag Sale: 9 a.m. Yorktown Community Nursery School is hosting its annual Children's Tag Sale. The school collects and sells gently used toys, books, clothes, and baby equipment. There also will be raffle prizes at the sale. Yorktown Community Nursery School, 247 Veterans Road.

Sunday, Oct. 21

Yorktown Flea Market: 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Antiques and collectibles will be on sale. Veterans Road behind the Yorktown Fire Department.
