Holiday Light Parade Entries Due: 5 p.m. Entries are due for Yorktown's First Annual Holiday Light Parade Spectacular. Visit: yorktownholidayparade.wordpress.com to download an application and find out more Information. Applications handed in at the parks and recreation office,176 Granite Springs Road.

Teen Center Open Mic: 6:30 to 9 p.m. Acoustic music, covers and originals, performed by teens. Yorktown Community and Cultural Center, nutritional center, 1974 Commerce St.

Saturday, Nov. 10

Rummage Sale: 9 a.m. St. Andrew's Lutheran Church holds its annual rummage sale. 2405 Crompond Road.

Comedy Night : 7 p.m. Comedian Billy Garan, comedienne Adrienne Tolsch, and The Elvis Tribute by Patrick Perone will perform at the Community Fundraiser by The Jack DeVito Foundation.
