Run-N-Gun Shootout: 10 a.m. Eight local teams will compete in a six-on-six flag football tournament. Many players are members of the Yorktown Flag Football League. The event features football, concessions, prizes, a visit from Santa, and special guests from the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America and the Hope For The Warriors, an organization established to support post 9/11 service members. Fire Department Candy Cane Run: 8:45 a.m. Yorktown's volunteer fire department will hand out candy canes with help from Santa Claus. Check the department's website to see when Santa comes to your street.
