Friday, April 19

Monty Python’s “Spamalot” At Yorktown Stage: 7:30 p.m. The Yorktown Stage and PMT Productions present “Spamalot.” This Tony Award winning comedy will feature a live orchestra and a cast drawn from local towns around Westchester and Putnam. Tickets range from $19 to $26.  Yorktown Live Musical Theatre, 1974 Commerce St., Yorktown Heights.

Somers Litter Task Force Annual Roadside and Neighborhood Clean-up: All day. Help the Town of Somers celebrate World Circus Day (April 20) and Earth Day (April 22) with the Annual Roadside and Neighborhood Clean-Up running from April 12 to April 22. Roadside litter collected by you will be picked up by the Town Highway Department.

Saturday, April 20

Battle of Yorktown Roadside Clean-Up: All day. The 25th annual “Battle of Yorktown” clean-up runs all day Saturday. The Town of Yorktown will wage its annual war against litter and recruits are needed. Litter bags, safety vests and litter grabbers are available at the Yorktown Refuse & Recycling Department. Those interested in joining are asked to call Refuse & Recycling at (914) 245-4438.

Homework: A Parent’s Survival Guide At Somers Library: 1 p.m. Discussing the some of the most prevalent problems facing parents when dealing with their child’s homework. Such as your child refuses to do homework assignments or your child takes all night to finish homework. Join us for step by step solutions to these problems. Somers Public Library, 80 Primrose St.

Shirley Temple Celebration At Yorktown Museum: 1 to 3 p.m. A day of fun, dolls, cake and a doll hospital at the Yorktown Museum. If you have a doll that needs repair, please bring doll or send a photo for evaluation. Refreshments will be served. Free admission and parking. Yorktown Museum, 1974 Commerce St., Yorktown Heights.

First Presbyterian Church Spring Concert in Yorktown: 4 p.m. The concert will present a bouquet of musical tributes to Spring, from the Baroque to contemporary favorites. This annual concert will feature professional soloists, the Concertino NY professional ensemble drawn from Juilliard and Yale schools of music, an internationally acclaimed oboist, choir and hand bells under the direction of Simona Frenkel.
