Labor Day: Yorktown Town Hall and the John C. Hart Memorial Library will be closed for the holiday.

Tuesday, Sep. 4

SEPTA Fundraiser at Twist: All day. Celebrate the last day of summer vacation with Twist and Yorktown SEPTA. The frozen yogurt shop will donate a portion of the day's proceeds to Yorktown SEPTA. 2202 Saw Mill River Road.

Back to School: Students in the Yorktown Central School District and Lakeland Central School District will return for another school year.

Lakeland School Board: 7:30 p.m. The Board of Education will have a work session on in the Lakeland Administration Building, 1086 E. Main St.
