Where To Watch Fourth Of July Fireworks In Westchester

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Celebrate Independence Day with the boom, pop and sizzle of fireworks right here in your backyard. 

Katonah:

"Pops, Patriots & Fireworks" is set for 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, July 4 at the Caramoor Center For Music and the Arts, 149 Girdle Ridge Road.

Curt Ebersole conducts the Westchester Symphonic Winds with Broadway’s Ryan Silverman in a patriotic evening of music, picnics on the lawn, and fireworks. Fireworks display to follow the concert. Tickets are $15-80.

Larchmont:

A free concert by "The Dixie Dandies" is scheduled from 7:15 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, July 4 in Manor Park on Park Avenue. A fireworks show will follow at dusk. Picnicking is not allowed in the park.

Lewisboro (South Salem):

Fireworks are set from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 28 at the Onatru Farm Park, 99 Elmwood Road. Admission is $20 per car.

Mamaroneck:

The Harbor Island Park Firemen's Carnival is set for 7 p.m. on Friday, July 4 at the park, located at Mamaroneck Avenue South and East Boston Post Road. A fireworks show follows at 9 p.m.

New Rochelle:

The July Fourth Fireworks Celebration is set for 9:30 p.m. on Friday, July 4 at Hudson Park and Five Islands Park on the beautiful Long Island Sound.

Ossining:

Free entertainment and fireworks will be featured during the Ossining Independence Day Fireworks at Louis Engel Waterfront Park at 7 p.m. Friday, July 11 at the park, Secor Road and Westerly Road (next to the Ossining Railroad Station). This event had been scheduled for Thursday, July 3 but was postponed because of the threat of thunderstorms.

Peekskill:

A parade, free concert and fireworks show are part of the Fourth of July festivities beginning at 10 a.m. Friday, July 4. Fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m. at Peekskill Riverfront Park on Hudson Avenue.

Port Chester:

Port Chester's Independence Day Celebration features fireworks along with a display by the Grucci family and entertainment from the Port Chester High School band. It begins at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, July 4 at Port Chester High School's Ryan Stadium, 1 Tamarack Road.

Rye:

Fireworks at Rye Playland is set for 9:30 p.m. on Friday, July 4 at the park on the Playland Parkway. Enjoy carnival rides during the day and a fireworks show choreographed to music after dark. Fifteen-minute fireworks shows are held every Wednesday and Friday at 9:15 p.m. from the Fourth of July through Labor Day.

Scarsdale:

Annual Fourth of July festivities include a fireworks show set for 9:15 p.m. on Thursday, July 3 at the Scarsdale Municipal Pool Complex, 311 Mamaroneck Road. It is open to all residents. Non-pool members may begin entering the pool complex at 5 p.m. All those who enter after 5 p.m. will be charged $2.

Somers:

A full day of events begins at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 28 at Reis Park, 82 Primrose St. A fireworks show sponsored by PepsiCo begins at 9:30 p.m.

Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow:

The Village of Tarrytown, in conjunction with the Village of Sleepy Hollow will have a fireworks display at dusk on Friday, July 4. The fireworks will shot off from the General Motors property and no specific viewing locations are established.

Tuckahoe:

A fireworks show is set from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 19 at the Parkway Oval Field on Bronx Street.

Valhalla:

The Kensico Dam Music Fest and Fireworks starts at 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 3  at the Kensico Dam Plaza at the north end of the Bronx River Parkway. Pre-concert entertainment begins at 6 p.m. and the Stolen Moments Band takes the stage at 8 p.m.; fireworks will follow at approximately 9:15 p.m. Admission and parking are free.

White Plains:

The City of White Plains Annual Independence Day Celebration is set for 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 2 at White Plains High School, 550 North St.

Yonkers:

The SummerFest fireworks show begins at 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 3 at the Cross Country Shopping Center, 8000 Mall Walk. The NYC Swing Band begins at 7 p.m. with the fireworks at 9:30 p.m.
