A blood drive will be hosted by the American Red Cross which will also include representatives from the NY Organ Donor Network and the New York area “Be a Match” Bone Marrow Program.

The combined drives will take place in the Yorktown Community Cultural Center (YCCC) which is at the corner of Commerce Street and Veterans Road.

As part of the parade at the festival, the Yorktown Chamber will create a mini park in order to showcase dogs as part of a parade. With Halloween just weeks away, dog owners who participate in this parade, are asked to have their dogs wear costumes.  During the course of the day, there will also be demonstrations from area dog behavior schools and local animal control officers.
