YORKTOWN, N.Y. - The Foundation for Excellence in Yorktown Education will honor three Relay for Life members Saturday in Tarrytown.

Monica Garrigan, Jane McCarthy and Donna D'Andrea - co-chairs for Relay for Life in Yorktown - will be recognized during the second annual Casino Night and Dinner Dance at the Doubletree Hotel on 455 S. Broadway.

There will be dinner, dancing, an open bar, casino tables, a silent auction and a raffle drawing for a chance to be in a movie that films in Yorktown this summer. The winner of the drawing will be a featured extra in "Hang Tough, Paul Mather." The movie will be directed by Yorktown resident David Levin.

Raffle tickets can be purchased online and participants do not have to be present to win.

The cost to attend is $100 per person and $900 for a table of 10 guests. Cocktail attire is suggested. Hotel rooms will be available at a discounted rate for the night of the event.

All money raised will fund grants and scholarships for the Yorktown Central School District. Last year, the foundation funded $44,000 worth of grants to teachers, and two $1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors, according to FFE President Shari Besterman.
