YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- The Yorktown Trail Town Committee will install permanent signs along the North County Trailway on Saturday, June 4.
The signs are designed to draw people off the North County Trailway as it passes through the Yorktown Heights business hamlet.
Each of the two signs will feature a map of the business hamlet with icons indicating where to find amenities and business services. It will show visitors where to find services such as coffee, lunch, bicycle repairs and more.
The Yorktown Trail Town Committee will host a bike ride on the trailway and a bicycle safety clinic after the 1 p.m. installation ceremony.
