Yorktown Rotary Hosts 3rd Annual Craft Beer Festival

YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- The Yorktown Rotary Club will host its third annual fundraiser, "The Best and the Wurst," from noon to 5 p.m. Sept. 28 at the Yorktown Heights Fireman's Field.

The festival will feature tastings of craft beer from at least seven different New York breweries -- Captain Lawrence of Elmsford, Defiant of Pearl River, Keegan's of Kingston, Shmaltz of Brooklyn, Sixpoint of Brooklyn, Singlecut of Queens and Westown of Westown.

Unlimited Wisconsin-style Bratwursts, hot dogs and soft pretzels will be served to go along with the brews.

Tickets are $30 for beer drinkers and $10 for designated drivers and children in advance of the event. Tickets will cost $40 and $15, respectively, at the door on the day of the festival.

Fireman's field is located at 271 Veterans Road in Yorktown.
