Yorktown's Jefferson Valley Mall Observes Breast Cancer Awareness Month

YORKTOWN, N.Y. – In observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, Jefferson Valley Mall will host “Think Pink” Saturday from noon to 3 p.m.

As part of the educational event, attendees will partake in an interactive and informational expo featuring health and wellness providers, nutritionists and fitness experts, while taking advantage of free manicures, crafts and light bites from area eateries.

Shoppers will also enjoy a high-energy fashion show courtesy of Gap, featuring local role models who have battled and survived breast cancer. Jefferson Valley Mall’s Think Pink event will support Mary’s Angels, Community Cares, Miles of Hope Breast Cancer Foundation and other local organizations that strive to enhance care for patients in need.
