Yorktown's Temple Beth Am Presents Nepal Fundraiser

YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. -- Temple Beth Am has teamed up with Nuru Sherpa, owner of the Jewel of the Himalaya restaurant, for a Nepal fundraising event on Thursday, July 30 at 6 p.m. in Gloria Hall.

Dinner, music and a presentation at Temple Beth Am will benefit the people of Nepal. A Nepalese cuisine will be featured from the restaurant.

The cost is $40 per person and $15 for middle and high schoolers. The proceeds will help villagers rebuild after the devastation caused by the recent earthquakes.

Babysitting for children will be available. Guests are encouraged to invite friends and may bring an optional dessert to share. Members and nonmembers can register by July 24 at www.templebetham-ny.org and click on the Nepal flyer.
