Even if if you child is just biking down the driveway, the brain injuries that can come from a helmet-less accident can be dangerous. It's also important to ensure a proper helmet fit; helmets that are positioned too far back on the head don't provide full coverage and helmets that are too large will move out of the impact zone in the event of a collision.
