Rogers, a Pound Ridge native who graduated Fox Lane High School, who garnered national attention for his 12-game winning streak this fall, advanced to the finals of the show's Tournament of Champion.
In his first game on Nov. 8, Rogers lost a quarterfinals matchup to Alan Lin, with Lin beating him $19,610 to $16,000.
Despite the loss, Rogers earned a wild card to the semifinals, where on Monday, he defeated his two opponents and won $14,500.

Rogers correctly answered Hannibal Hamlin and beat the second place finisher by more than $4,000.
The "Jeopardy!" champion, had become a national sensation during his time on the show for his outfits, antics, and hatred of the band, Eagles.
