WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. - The pool at Yorktown's FDR Park was at capacity Sunday afternoon, as Westchester residents looked for relief from the 90-degree heat and humidity.

The park was buzzing with activity, with the pool overflowing, and people having picnics just about everywhere.

Daytime highs were expected to stay near or above 90 degrees in the area until Thursday, when a slight drop in temperature may be accompanied by some rain.
