A GoFundMe page has been established and 280 people have donated $26,501 in two days. The Furci family is hoping to raise $40,000.

Furci initially had nausea, and a loss of energy and appetite. A lump on her stomach was determined to be a tumor that grew to 2.5 lbs and was removed from her abdomen.

Furci will begin 3-4 cycles of chemotherapy for nine to 12 weeks.

"This has been a very sudden discovery for Brielle and her family which finicially and emotionally has turned their lives upside down," the family wrote on the GoFundMe page.

On the page, Furci said she was grateful for everyone's support.

"Everything that I am going through is really hard but knowing that I am surrounded by so much love makes it all that much easier," Furci said. "I am honestly scared for what is to come but I appreciate knowing that the whole community cares. Thank you all so much for your kindness and generosity."
