YORKTOWN, N.Y.-- The Harrison Apar Field of Dreams Foundation has funded a technology center for teens at the Yorktown Teen Center.
The Harrison Apar Computer and Technology Center now includes four computer stations, a laser printer and video equipment, and was all unveiled last Wednesday by Bruce and Elyse Apar. The reception, hosted by the Teen Center showed, off the new equipment, as well as a commemorative plaque.
The Apars have been supportive of the Teen Center from the beginning," said Helena Rodriguez, director of the Yorktown Teen Center. "As we grow as a community organization, their help with establishing our foundations will not be forgotten."
