Support Connections Support-A-Walk may not be until October, but there are plenty of events in the coming weeks to jump-start the walk.
On July 16, two separate events will take place in support of the walk.
From 9 to 11 a.m. everyone is invited to join a free buffet breakfast and receive information about the walk at the North Westchester Restorative Therapy and Nursing Center in Mohegan Lake. The event will feature brochures, flyers, registration information and more. R.S.V.P by July 14 by calling 914-662-6402, or by emailing Michele.deieso@supportconnection.org.
Later on in the evening, join Support Connection for Show your Support Night with the Hudson Valley Renegades. The gates open at 5:30 p.m., and the game begins at 7:05 p.m. To attend the game, and watch the fireworks after the game, purchase a ticket in advance. In the beginning of August, attend the Support Connection Golf Outing. Hosted by Club Fit, the outing will take place at the Salem Golf Club. The afternoon will include golf, deluxe luncheon, cocktail hour and dinner reception. For those who plan to golf, the price is $215 per golfer, for those who only wish to attend for cocktails and dinner, the price is $75.
