YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. Marie "Mary" Rocco, of Yorktown Heights, died May 1. She was 96.
She was born in Mount Vernon to Giacomo and Marietta DiAquanni DiVito.
Rocco is survived by a daughter, Mary Lou (Noah) Ellingham; a brother, John; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Lenora Heckett; a son-in-law, Richard Heckett, Sr.; six brothers, Anthony, Louis, James, Vincent, Tommy and Bill; and four sisters, Albina, Nettie, Anne and Teresa.
The family will receive friends from 3-8 p.m. Thursday at Yorktown Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at the new St. Patrick's Church. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in New Rochelle.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a favorite charity.
