YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. – Mary M. Young, 94, of Yorktown Heights died April 21. 

The daughter of John and Mary McNulty, she was born Jan. 11, 1918 in New York City. She married John W. Young on Feb. 7, 1942 and they moved to Yorktown in 1958. 

Young is survived by two daughters, Mary Lou (William) Irwin and Jeanne (Burt) Sherry, eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. She was predeceased by her husband John in 1976. 

Family will receive friends from 3 to 7 p.m. on Monday at Yorktown Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
