Realbuto, Longtime Yorktown Heights Resident, Dies

YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. - John Realbuto, a longtime resident of Yorktown Heights, died Jan. 30. He was 89.

The former owner of Wonder Meats in New York City, Realbuto married Mae Lavia in 1952 at St. Gabriel's Church in Brooklyn, N.Y. He was a parishioner of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Shrub Oak.

He is survived by his daughters Nancy DeMaria, Antoinette Carbona and Marie Gauci, his sons James Realbuto and Frank Realbuto, 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Calling hours are from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday at Clark Funeral Home in Yorktown Heights. The funeral mass will be held at 11:15 a.m. on Thursday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church followed by interment at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Putnam Valley, N.Y.
