Located in the heart of White Plains, YMCA Summer Day Camp facility offers full-equipped, air-conditioned, licensed classrooms, a gymnasium, aerobics studio, racquetball courts and running track, 2 indoor swimming pools and an enclosed playground.  Appropriate program space is designated by age.

Camp Combe is located on 80 acres of pristine wilderness in Putnam Valley.  Its amenities include a large capacity swimming pool, sports fields, basketball courts, archery range, playground, Alpine Tower and Zipline, giant hillside slide, Giant Swing/Flying Squirrel, a 30 foot water slide, a brook for meandering, and is conveniently located one mile off the Taconic Parkway.

All summer programs in White Plains run from 8am to 4pm, with early drop off available from 7:30am-8am and Extended Care from 4pm to 6:30pm.  The White Plains YMCA Summer Programs also use local schools and parks based on availability.  We offer Pee-Wee camp, ages 3-4; Kinder Camp, ages 5-6; Day Camp, ages 6-13; and Summer School Camp, ages 5-13.  Camp programs offer cooking, story-time, science, arts and crafts, music, drama, reading, community exploration, team-building exercises, instructional and recreational swim, outings and more. Certain programs are provided bussing through the White Plains School district.

The weekly theme-based summer curriculum encourages hands-on learning in a non-stress, success-oriented environment.  Children learn through the process and take pride in the product.  The children will practice conflict resolution, mediation, compromise and taking responsibility while building independence in a safe and nurturing environment.

Both the White Plains YMCA and Camp Combe offer a CIT (counselor in training) program to help teenagers gain personal power, self-confidence and self-esteem through peer instruction and communications.

Camp Combe offers half and full day camp and  both traditional and specialty day camp programs including Theater Arts, Visual Arts, Writopia, Y-Tech Lego Robotics, Y-Tech Minecraft, JPSA Soccer Camp and Adventure Bound camps for teenagers.  Campers range from pre-kindergarten age 4-5 through high school Grade 10. Campers enjoy theme weeks, family nights, additional swim lessons and extended care if needed.  The camp management philosophy promotes inclusion support, because every child deserves the chance to experience the joy and magic of summer camp. There is no additional charge for this service.  Bus transportation is available for a wide range of Westchester and Putnam County locations.

Realizing that families have differing abilities to pay, Camp Combe has a tiered pricing program.  Financial aid is available to all at both locations and is based on available annual assistance funds raised through the YMCA Annual Campaign.  Branch and sibling discounts also offered.
