Jodee Novak rode her bike over 2,000 miles in the past six months! Her PURPOSE was to help raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. In 2010, Jodee learned to ride a tandem bike with her husband Ed Novak and raised $13,000 in November on a ride in Tucson in honor of Jake and Chase Santorella, who had a successful bone marrow transplant late last year. In June, she continued her journey with a purpose; once again, in honor of Jake and Chase, she rode 100 miles in Lake Tahoe through, rain, hail and hills to raise another $9,000 for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. If you get over to Tazza Café in Somers , give a high five to Jodee and Ed- they have made a difference this year!
