YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- Yorktown's sweetheart -- Singer Jessica Lynn -- has a lot going on in 2017 including an opening date with ZZ Top.
At the moment the 2008 Lakeland High graduate is touring in California before heading to The Bermuda Festival of The Performing Arts soon after.
Closer to home, she will be at The Winery at Saint George in Mohegan Lake on Wednesday, March 29. Lynn said this venue is very special to her because it's where she filmed her first nationwide PBS special.
That televised concert was the catalyst that led to all of her touring over the last few years including opening for some of the biggest names in country music -- think Loretta Lynn, Brad Paisley, Keith Urban, and Phil Vassar.
Lynn said she'll be doing a special storytelling show that night highlighting different un-plugged versions of her songs -- as well as the stories behind them. Tickets are on sale now at www.thewineryatstgeorge.com .
Then, there's the summer where - the details are still being worked out -- she'll be on an international tour spanning several countries that will include a date in France opening for ZZ Top and another date in the U.K. playing again with ZZ Top and Kansas along with several other country rockers.
Said Lynn: "We will be announcing our other dates shortly and I am so looking forward to visiting so many new places and getting to perform my music for so many new people."
