12,000 Still Without Power In Yorktown Weds AM

YORKTOWN, N.Y. – More than 6,400 New York State Energy and Gas customers, and 5,900 Con Edison customers in Yorktown were still without power Wednesday morning.

Utility outage maps estimate 6,461 of the 6,463 NYSEG customers, and 5,919 of the 8,173 Con Ed customers served in Yorktown were without power as of 6:30 a.m. Wednesday. Officials have not given an expected restoration date.

More than 31,335 out of the 32,524 NYSEG customers, and 180,000 out of the 348,198 Con Ed customers in Westchester were without power as of Wednesday morning, according to outage maps.
