Accidents On Taconic, I-84 Causing Morning Gridlock

Accidents on the Taconic State Parkway and I-84 are made for a slow-go for motorists Wednesday morning.

An 8 a.m. accident involving an overturned vehicle  caused stop-and-go traffic on the southbound Taconic at Carpenter Road with delays to Beekman Road in Hopewell Junction.

An earlier accident on eastbound I-84 blocked the shoulder at Lime Kiln Road (Exit 15) in Hopewell Junction with backups to Route 9 (Exit 13).
