WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Several accidents throughout the area slowed down the Tuesday morning commute.
A 7:50 a.m. accident on westbound I-287 caused delays at Exit 9 (Route 100/119) in Greenburgh.
There were also delays on the Sprain Brook and Taconic State parkways after accidents.
The accident on the Sprain is southbound at Route 100B and was reported at 8:15 a.m.
The 8:20 a.m. accident on the Taconic was southbound at Pleasantville Road, with slow traffic and backups to Route 100/133.
Heavy traffic was also reported on southbound I-684 from the I-84 merger to I-287.
