WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- An AMBER Alert has been issued for four young children after authorities say they were abducted by a couple in Monticello, N.Y., who had lost custody of the children.

The two adults have a violent history and fled with the children following a court order removing the children from their custody because of neglect and suspected drug activity, according to authorities.

The abduction occurred on Dom Drive in Monticello at about 6 p.m. on Wednesday, according to authorities.

Tina Esquilin is a 27-year-old Hispanic female with black hair and brown eyes who is 5-foot-4, 169 pounds.

Alfred Franklin is a 30-year-old black male with brown eyes who is 6-foot-1, 220 pounds.

The children -- two girls and two boys -- range in age from 6 months to 5 years old: Gabriella  Torres, a 5-year-old female; Jacob Esquilin, a 4-year-old boy; Jionni Torres, a 2-year-old boy; and Assata Mari Franklin, a 6-month-old girl.

Anyone with any information on this abduction should immediately call the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office at (866) NYS-AMBER or call 911.
